We are looking for friendly, self-employed people to introduce local businesses to Lekka, in person, in their own area. Flexible hours, full training, and a team behind you.

What Lekka is
A digital loyalty card for local businesses.
Lekka replaces the paper stamp card. A customer buys nine coffees and gets the tenth free, but the card lives on their phone instead of in their wallet.
It works on the customer's phone
There is no app to download and no paper card to lose. The customer scans a QR code at the counter and collects a stamp.
It does not touch the card machine
Lekka works alongside whatever payment system the business already uses, and never takes a cut of a sale.
It helps owners look after their regulars
Business owners can see who keeps coming back, reward them, and send them a message when it matters.
What a Local Partner does
The role, in three steps.
Local businesses would much rather hear about Lekka from someone they know than from an advert. That is where you come in.
Introduce local businesses to Lekka
You visit cafés, restaurants, salons, car washes and other local businesses in your area, and show the owner how Lekka works.
Help them get set up
When an owner wants to join, you help them sign up, choose their first reward, and put their QR code on the counter. It takes about ten minutes.
Keep in touch
You check in with the businesses you have signed up to make sure things are going well. Lekka handles support, billing and the product itself.
Who we are looking for
People who know their local area.
You do not need a sales background. You need to be reliable, friendly, and happy to talk to business owners face to face. Here are some of the people this suits.
You have worked in hospitality
You have been a barista, a waiter or a manager, so you understand how a local business runs day to day.
You know your area well
You are a regular at the local businesses near you and you know many of the owners by name.
You enjoy meeting people
You are comfortable walking into a business, introducing yourself, and having a friendly conversation with the owner.
You run a small business yourself
You understand what owners care about and you have some spare time each week.
The hours
The role is flexible.
You choose your own hours
There are no fixed hours and no office. You decide which days and times you work.
It fits around other work
Most partners do this alongside a job, their own business or their studies.
There are no sales targets
You can start with a day a week and do more when it suits you.

Common questions.
Is this a full-time job?
No. Local Partners are self-employed and work with Lekka on a flexible contract. There are no fixed hours, no office and no sales targets. You can keep your other work.
How do Local Partners get paid?
You earn commission on the businesses you sign up. We explain exactly how it works when we speak to you, and everything is set out in writing before you start.
Do I need sales experience?
No. It helps, but it is not required. If you are comfortable talking to a business owner, we will teach you everything else.
Where are you looking for partners?
Anywhere in South Africa. We started in Somerset West and Cape Town and we are now growing across the country. Tell us where you are when you apply.
What happens after I apply?
