How long does it actually take to set up?
Around five minutes from sign-up to a printable QR card sitting on your counter. You add your business details, pick whether you want stamps or points, choose your reward, and we generate everything else — including an AI-written description of your business — for you.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Customers scan your counter QR with their normal phone camera, sign up in their browser, and their stamp lands instantly. No app store, no download, no account creation friction.
Do I need to scan customers, or use a special device?
No to both. The customer scans your printed counter QR with their own phone — you don’t scan anything. The only piece of physical kit is the A5 card you print and put next to your till.
What does “free” actually mean?
The Free plan covers up to 50 enrolled customers and includes the core programme, your verified Lekka profile and basic insights. No credit card, no time limit, no hidden costs. When you outgrow it, Starter is R249/month and adds broadcasts, full insights and customer export.
Am I locked into a contract?
No contracts. Pay monthly by invoice, cancel any time, and you keep your customer data. The Free plan is never billed at all, and we never ask for a card upfront.
What happens to my customers if I cancel?
They keep the rewards they’ve already earned at your business until they’re claimed. You can export your customer list at any time before or after cancelling. We don’t hold customer data hostage.
Can my staff add stamps for customers without phones?
Yes. Vendor accounts can manually add stamps from the dashboard for customers who can’t scan — useful for elderly customers, regulars without smartphones, or one-off recovery if a scan fails.
How do customers actually claim a reward?
They tap “Claim My Reward” in their wallet, show you the green confirmation screen, and you let them have the reward. You don’t need to do anything technical — just glance at their phone. The system handles the redemption automatically and logs it.
Can I run different programmes at different locations?
Yes. Growth covers up to 5 sites (2 included, then R199/mo each) and Premium includes 3 sites with more at R99/mo each and no cap. Programmes can run independently per site or pool stamps across all locations, your choice when you set up.
Is there support if I get stuck?
Yes. Email support, in-app chat with the team, and a vendor guide that walks you through every feature. Lekka is built and supported in South Africa — no overseas call centre, no robot replies.
